Bill Koss has more then seventeen years of experience in the networking industry. His book, Six Years that Shook the World, provides a deep history of networking and the technology markets of the 1990s. Currently, he is consulting for a number of private and public company clients, helping shape their marketing, branding, positioning and sales teams as well as assisting leadership teams in private companies with fund raising and exit strategies.

Bill has held positions with technical, sales and operating responsibilities located in the U.S. and abroad. He left Ciena in August 2006, where he held the position of Vice President of Global Business Alliances. He joined Ciena in May 2004 through the acquisition of ...More Internet Photonics, where he served as Vice President of Sales and Business Development. Prior to Internet Photonics, he worked at Nortel Networks and previously was the VP of Business Development at Sonoma Systems.
